Riders took to the clubs Landseer Park track to race in the sixth round of IBMXC’s 11 round Summer Series this Tuesday evening.
Turnout was down due perhaps to the persistent rain before and after racing. However the actual races were rain free and track conditions were excellent, with barely a breath of wind and no setting sun blinding the riders.
The racing in all classes was highly competitive with all the riders continuing to make significant gains with their speed and skill levels.
Results can be seen on Our Sqorz here.
Congratulations must go to Winnie Andrews who took the evening’s Rad Rider award and to Cassini Kittl who took part in his first BMX race and recovered well from a crash in an early moto.
Thank you as always to our club volunteers for helping to run these events. BMX action continues at Landseer Park next Tuesday evening with club coaching. Round 7 of the Summer Series takes place on Tuesday 18th July.
