The 2024 British BMX Championships which were held in Derby this bank holiday weekend broke attendance records yet again with around 1400 riders registered to compete. IBMXC had an amazing 27 entries, competing in classes from the 7 year old males to the 50-54 year old cruisers.
Club coach John Lillingstone was the best performing of all the Ipswich riders. He narrowly missed out on retaining his Masters title after being pushed wide in the final berm whilst leading.
However every Ipswich rider did themselves and the club proud and their results can be found on Our Sqorz here. Thank you to Derby BMX Club and all the British Cycling volunteers for putting on another fantastic event.
BMX racing continues back at Ipswich this Tuesday 27th August as we host the penultimate round of our Summer Series. Registration closes at our Landseer Park clubhouse at 1830hrs, racing starts at 1900hrs.
