A big thank you goes to the Royston Rockets BMX club for stepping in at short notice and hosting the fifth round of the BMX East Winter Series today. The event was originally scheduled to be at Milton Keynes but due to their recent flooding the venue was switched.
There was some doubt as to whether the round would take place at all with strong winds forecast during the day. Racing did however go ahead and despite the challenging conditions proved to be a great success.
Thirteen Ipswich riders braved the weather and you can see their results on Our Sqorz here.

The sixth and final round of the series takes place at Peterborough on Sunday 18th February.
BMX continues at Landseer Park this Saturday morning for IBMXC members who have pre-booked onto club coaching.
