Phew! A massive thank you from everyone involved at Ipswich BMX Club to our amazing BMX family.
Today our club played host to round 1 of the BMX East Regional Summer Series. Unfortunately the weather was Baltic, but that didn’t stop over 200 riders registering for some hot BMX action.
Everyone played their part in making it a great event including the riders, their families, BC commissionaire’s and the hardworking IBMXC volunteers.
Despite the recent heavy rains our Landseer Park track was in tip-top condition and made for some exciting racing throughout all the classes. Amazingly enough and despite the close racing there were very few spills or big offs.
Next up for IBMXC members are rounds 1 & 2 of the British Cycling National Series at Manchester next weekend. Round 2 of the BMX East Regional series is at Norwich on 3rd April.
