It's busy times here at Ipswich BMX Club, the summer season is in full swing with club riders competing in National, Regional and Club races on a regular basis. Not to mention some also preparing for the World Championships in France at the end of July.
The club is also preparing to host the final round of the BMX East regional series on Sunday August 7th. One of the ways we're looking to better the experience for everyone attending is to improve the riders pen area at our Landseer Park track.
Ipswich BMX Club are seeking volunteers to help with construction of the new area this Saturday 25th June from 0900-1400hrs. A digger and dumper will be in use, but there's still plenty of other jobs to be done by hand. Including, but not limited to strimming, grading and seeding. Tools and tea provided! Any help even for just the shortest time would be gratefully appreciated, no previous experience necessary! The track will still be open and free to use during work.
