Well done to Ipswich BMX Club rider Samuel Hambling who showed a good turn of speed and great commitment as he completed in rounds 3 & 4 of the 2024 UEC BMX European Cup in Zolder, Belgium last weekend. Sam competed against 225 other boys in the 15/16-year-old class and made it to the 1/32 finals both days before being eliminated. Well done also to Sam's brother Sebastian who made it to the 1/8th final in a stacked 17-24 men's class.
We welcomed British Summer time back over the weekend which means BMX action can continue closer to home as Ipswich BMX Club resumes it Tuesday evening sessions at Landseer Park. Sessions begin this Tuesday 2nd April with gate practice 1800-1930: £2 for IBMXC members. £4 for non-members of other British Cycling affiliated clubs (card payment on the evening).
